Why I love Framed Prints Over Canvases

This is a display of my family’s photos in a collection of vintage frames I found at antique stores! Our gallery wall changes over time.

I prefer framed prints over other types of wall displays. Frames are wonderful because they are timeless, they can easily coordinate with your overall aesthetic, and your photographs can be easily swapped out over time! While canvases are great, unless you intend to display your piece permanently, they take up a lot of space and are difficult to store when not in use. As your family grows and changes, your framed prints can easily change with that. One large, framed portrait can serve as a striking focal point in a room. This statement piece showcases your family memories at the heart of your home. The size of the portrait depends on your wall space. Opt for 16x24 or larger for a single display on a smaller wall or as a part of a gallery display on a large wall.
