Commemorating Time With My Daughter - AMG Photography - Minnesota Senior Photographer

It’s time to think about Senior Portraits for the Class of 2020. Can you believe it? I am having a very difficult time thinking about planning Senior Photo Sessions already because my daughter is a junior in high school and I will be documenting this momentous time in her life! But it has proved to be such an inspiring thing for me. It has pushed me to think about why preserving images of my child during this time in her life is so precious. It is about preserving a moment in time when she is still my little girl, yet, she is on the verge of taking flight and pursuing her own dreams. It is a time when I still get to spend every single day with her, yet, soon those days will be few. It is a time when I get to capture her excitement, her optimism, her joy, and her beauty, It will be preserved for me, for my family, and most of all for her. I want her to remember how strong and brave she has been balancing the rigor of school, the challenges of relationships while discovering her goals for the future. I want her to remember that her identity is not in what the world says about her, but in the amazing beauty that God created in her as a unique and incredible being.

All of this has inspired me as I plan this year’s Senior Photo Sessions. My goal is to capture the unique beauty of who you are, your passions, your interests, your joy, your seriousness, and even your silliness, and more. All of these things make you a beautiful person. I also want to include those in your life who are important to you! Your parents, your best friend, your siblings - there is a place for them as a part of this very momentous occasion in your life. So, let’s capture you and those who you care about most, in your Senior Portrait session.
